In The News...

Congratulations to Yaya Han on the release of a comic book character based upon her called The Wonderous Girl Saga 1 and 2, both available from Lion Forge Comics.

See her site where she talks about having the chance to collaborate with Lion Forge Comics on the series.

Should the Butterfly Dragon find its way onto another media form, she would be amongst the my first choice for the chosen costume designers for the actual hero characters of The Butterfly Dragon.

Visual character design is moving into the second phase and I hope to have some content up with the results now that I have an idea of how the characters are going to appear and some other aspects of the world of The Butterfly Dragon. Character references are going ahead one at a time.

Character Design And Imagery...

I spent the evening downloading some reference images for nearly all of the characters from A Lady's Prerogative II: Wounded Aerth and The Butterfly Dragon: Dragon Butterfly.

Basically that consists of choosing from a base of people in terms of imagery that you think of when you read the part of each character. Its almost like casting the part for each character to an actress or actor, though this is just for visual design and perhaps to elaborate on the character's mannerisms.

With that said, I've now got most of the design elements in place for character visualization and perhaps enough to start artwork and shop it out to some professionals to put it together into a complete set of creative properties.

That should make it easier to put some visual material to both the world of A Lady's Prerogative and The Butterfly Dragon.
